Accommodation

The De Vere University Arms offers 118 luxuriously appointed bedrooms all equipped with the modern facilities you would expect of a four star hotel. All of the bedrooms were refurbished in June 2001.

For a room with a view why not book a Parker Room overlooking Parker's Piece. You may prefer to indulge in one of the hotel's Four Poster rooms or fabulous suites, which include bathrobes and slippers, mineral water, chocolates and fruit bowl.

All rooms (excluding the Travel Singles) have a bath, shower, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, Sky television, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, iron and ironing board. Disabled rooms are available and have grab rails in the bathroom along with wider doorways for easy access.

Situated only two miles from the hotel, Greens Health & Fitness Centre offers you a chance to relax and unwind in the luxurious health studio, which offers a complete range of treatments, ranging from massages using essential oils, to facials and revitalising beauty treatments. There is a charge of £5.00 per person which is payable direct to the Centre.

Directions: Whether you are travelling from the North or South, being situated in the heart of Cambridge, the University Arms Hotel is easy to locate.

From the South
Travel around the M25 until you reach Junction 27 which is the M11 turnoff. Proceed up the M11 until Junction 11 and then follow the directions below.

From the North
Travel down the A14 (formerly A604) accessible from the M6, M1 and the A1. Continue towards Cambridge and follow the signs onto the M11; do not exit before exit 11 on the M11. Follow the signs for the City Centre for approximately 3 miles until you come to two mini roundabouts. Turn right at the second roundabout and continue until you reach a set of traffic lights, at which you turn left. Continue along Regent Street for about 600 yards, until you reach the pedestrian crossing, on your right is The University Arms Hotel.
