Step through the elegant portals of the prestigious Chester
Grosvenor and you are immediately enveloped in the traditions and grandeur
of a bygone age. Set in the heart of Chester's fine shopping centre, the
hotel is also within easy walking distance of all the many sites the historic
city of Chester has to offer including the 'Rows', the unique, medieval
galleried streets - home, these days, to a wealth of speciality shops. The Grade II listed building, with its black and white, half-timbered fa?ade, is set alongside the city walls which can be 'walked', giving a fascinating, elevated view of Chester's daily life. The Chester Grosvenor is owned by and named after the family of the Duke of Westminster, Gerald Grosvenor, whose family home is within three miles of the hotel in the beautiful, rolling Cheshire countryside. |
