Leeds Castle was a royal palace for three centuries, and is built on two islands in the middle of a lake. Arundel Castle is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk, and the castle contains a fine collection of paintings and furniture. The Royal Pavilion in Brighton was home to three British monarchs, and the famous seaside residence of King George IV. While in Brighton, take a look at the Sea-life Centre which specialises in British marine life and has the biggest underwater tunnel display in Europe.

Crawley is a bustling town and an ideal place to shop. The County Mall is an indoor shopping centre and a traffic-free pedestrian area, with all the major high street boutiques and chain stores. Crawley is a town with a long history: its roots can be traced back to Roman times. Some of the mediaeval buildings, still standing in the High Street, were used as halfway coaching stops between London and the south coast of England. This tradition continues every November, when contestants enter the London to Brighton Veteran Car rally.

There is an NCP pay car park located adjacent to the hotel, with a residents' overnight charge of £10.00. Long-term parking is off-site at either the North or South Terminals, about one mile from the hotel. On checking in to the hotel, you are issued with a voucher to park for any period of up to 15 days. You drive to the car park after check-in and then a courtesy bus returns you to the terminal. On your return, the courtesy bus takes you to pick up your car.

Directions
By Car - take the Junction 9 exit on the M23 motorway and follow the signs to London Gatwick Airport's North Terminal, where the hotel is situated and connects with the North Terminal. Car parking is available either in the car park adjacent to the hotel or in the larger multi-storey car park opposite the hotel. Please note that charges may apply.

By Train - take the frequent Gatwick Express rail link from London Victoria. On arrival at Gatwick Airport (South Terminal) follow signs to the North Terminal (via the Rapid Transit link). Signs to the hotel will be seen on leaving the Rapid Transit station.

By Plane - if arriving at the South Terminal, follow signs to the North Terminal (via the Rapid Transit link) and then follow signs towards the hotel.

If arriving at the North Terminal, take the lift or escalator to Level 1 and follow the signs to the hotel. The Hotel is linked to Gatwick Airport's North Terminal by a short covered walkway.
